 
ToBeScene Productions was founded in 2004 by independent filmmakers & videographers Nick Cushing & Aldo Erdic, and has evolved into a multi-faceted production company, serving three main objectives:
- to provide affordable, high quality video & promotional services to one and all,
- to document Toronto's unseen scene through ToBeZine, an online collection of photos, videos & articles,
- to produce & showcase its own creative works, including short films, live shows & festivals, stage productions and more!

ToBeScene is focused on providing an alternative outlet for provocative bands, artists and performers emerging from Toronto's sub-culture. Through exclusive interviews and live footage, our ToBeZine page we will be bringing you the unheard music and unseen artists and performers that the mainstream media has ignored or isn't aware of. What is sub-underground today may not be for long.
Whether from their early radio plays or punk videozine, ToBeScene's founders Nick Cushing and Aldo Erdic have always taken an innovative and humorous approach to their creative projects. The focus tends to be on individuals or characters whose personalities, ideals or actions go against the grain and offer a uniquely skewed — but always entertaining — view of the world. This left of centre view is explored in various permutations through ToBeScene's short films, documentaries and original segments on the ToBeScene "TV Show".

Aldo Erdic got his start in the film & video racket in 1997 using only 1 camera & 2 VCRs to create a series of video fanzines called F*U*TV, documenting the local punk & indie music scene. Since 2003, he has produced & directed several short films & music videos with the same D.I.Y ethic (but using a computer this time).
Nick Cushing is a B.C. & Toronto, film maker, songwriter, playwright & satirist. He produced his first work, a radio play, in 1991 & hasn't stopped writing & producing since. He moved to Toronto in 1995 where ToBeScene emerged as a venue for each of these masterpieces.
