It's finally here! The Shirkers Paradise, a sequel to The Left Coast, had it's Premiere May 6th - things didn't go smoothly, the projector only showed part of the screen - the part with no captions!! Only the Russian speakers were in on the jokes.! However, here it is , full screen, and we'll be showing it in full definition at various film fests, and the Tobescene Theatre too!

Here’s a sampling of photos from the filming of The Shirkers Paradise, note that the filming took nine months, the same as a baby! Hopefully the “labor” will be done by December. Many thanks to all who participated.

When the clone of a humanoid singer named Elvis takes ill, three alien
geneticists & their sentient computer return to Planet Earth in
search of the original model. Musical hijinks & wry humour abound
in this slyly satirical look at sci-fi convention & pop culture.
This rousing musical will be ToBeScene's first feature, filmed entirely in High Definition!
You can read more and listen to the songs from the musical at the Fallen From Graceland Mini-Site here.

This short film by Toronto's Lee Sjostrom examines the motivations behind certain class of art patrons. What really makes someone appreciate a work of art? The metaphysical message underlying it's layers of paint or the potential investment value? Pick the wrong answer and you'll get what you deserve. ToBeScene associate Cad Gold Jr. stars as the not-so-starving artist. Also starring Radu Tudorancea and Sharon Gant.
